Our couples counselling sessions provide a supportive space to explore the patterns, histories, and stories shaping your relationship.
We help you and your partner build communication skills, navigate conflict with compassion, and understand the deeper dynamics at play, so you can reconnect on a foundation of trust and respect.
We honour the cultural, relational, and individual factors that make your partnership unique. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe, strengthening your bond and helping you grow as a couple while also supporting each of you as individuals.

How It Works
First Session Together
Welcome in. We start with a simple check-in, go over consent and privacy, and talk about what brings you here. I invite each of you to share what hurts, what you hope for, and what is already working. Together, we map the pattern that shows up between you in plain language. You choose the focus. We can set clear goals and practical steps, open space for deeper healing, or do a bit of both. I teach one small skill in the session so you can try it right away, and we end with a care plan for the week. I also ask a few safety questions to understand any risk and to make sure we have the right support in place. My aim is a safer space where you can feel more understood and supported.
Second Meetings One to One
I meet with each partner for one private session. This is about context and care, not keeping secrets. We look at your story, stress and trauma, attachment themes, body cues, strengths, and hopes. We also notice how place, migration, and community shape what is happening now. I share how privacy works, and I will encourage us to bring back what matters in a way that feels right for you.
Back Together
We rejoin, put the pieces together, and choose a path that fits. Some couples prefer a solution-focused plan with clear practices. Others want to go deeper. Many want both. We keep the focus on learning, consent, and steady collaboration. We practise tools in session, keep what helps, and adjust what does not. My lens is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and mindful of systems and power. I name where care can miss people, and I work to do better with you.
