Therapy for Anger

THERAPY SERVICES.jpg
anger management therapy

Anger is trying to protect you. Lately, it is costing you connection.

ARE YOU...

  • Finding that anger shows up fast, and you hear yourself say things you would not choose?

  • Going quiet until frustration builds and spills over, pulling you back into the same loop and leaving tension in your body and distance after?

We help with blowups that hurt trust, stonewalling, resentment, shame after the storm, tension in parenting and co-parenting, stress in the body, and the feeling that nothing changes even when you promise it will.

You want real tools, fewer blowups, and a relationship that feels safe and connected.

Anger can be caused by both external and internal events. Being angry at a specific person (such as a coworker or supervisor) or event (like a traffic jam or a cancelled flight) can also result from worrying or brooding about our personal problems. Memories of traumatic or enraging events can also trigger angry feelings.

We see anger as a needed part of you. Sometimes it is loud, sometimes it is quiet and waiting for space, and sometimes it is simply asking to be spoken to.

It can motivate and defend you, and when it shows up often and rigidly, it can strain the connection or tip toward rage.

We begin by seeing where anger shows up and what it is doing for you. Then we strengthen awareness of yourself and your relationships, and practise pausing, speaking needs, and repairing so anger does not have to run the show. Care is trauma-informed, relationship-centred, and evidence-informed, with attention to culture, migration, community, and finances, and we move at your pace with consent.

This service is offered for individuals and couples.

How It Works

Welcome In

We start with a simple check-in, go over consent and privacy, and name what brings you here. Together, we notice where anger shows up and what it is doing for you: body cues, thoughts, urges, triggers, impact, and what happens after. We work to build a steadier space where you can feel more understood and supported.

You Choose The Focus

We can set clear goals and practical steps, open space for deeper healing, or do a bit of both. We teach one small skill in session so you can try it right away, such as a brief pause and check-in, a time-out plan that does not abandon connection, or a short repair script.

After The Session

After the session, you leave with a care plan for the week and options that fit your life. Care is trauma-informed, relationship-centred, and evidence-informed, with attention to culture, migration, community, and finances. You can pause or pass on any question, ask for clarity at any time, and we move at your pace.
