We help with low mood, loss of interest, high-functioning depression that hides in plain sight, sleep and appetite changes, guilt and self-criticism, isolation, and the strain this places on work, school, parenting, and relationships. We also address stress shaped by culture, migration, displacement, and trauma.
At HolistiCare, depression is a signal that something has been heavy for too long.
With IFS, we get to know the parts that feel numb, hopeless, or critical and invite your steadier self to lead with care. CBT and behavioural activation turn insight into simple actions. Somatic skills support sleep and energy. A psychodynamic lens helps us understand “the why,” so change holds.

Sessions are learning focused and relationship-centred. We co-create a plan that fits your life and community, and we can loop in your circle of care with consent (family doctor, psychiatrist, community resources).
We keep what helps and adjust what does not.

How It Works
First Session
Warm check-in, consent, privacy, and a picture of what a lighter week would look like. You leave with one gentle step, like a two-minute activation, a sleep cue, or a kinder thought script.
After That
We build small, steady momentum. We review what helped, adjust what did not, and keep the steps doable.
