Therapy for Complex Trauma/PTSD

Trauma taught your body to stay on alert.

ARE YOU...

  • Startling easily, having nightmares or flashbacks, going numb or shutting down, or feeling watchful in your own home?

  • Seeing old survival strategies strain your relationships, repeating patterns you do not want, or feeling unseen in systems that were supposed to help?

We help with hyperarousal and shutdown, intrusive memories, avoidance, shame, dissociation, people pleasing, anger that carries too much, and the impact of war trauma, migration, displacement, and historical trauma.

We move gently and do not rush.

Trauma reactions are survival adaptations. With the right support, the nervous system can learn new patterns and reduce reactivity over time.

We focus first on safety and regulation, then use IFS, trauma-informed CBT, somatic work, and EFT for relationships, with narrative and psychodynamic meaning-making woven in.

Stability before story. We build regulation with breath, grounding, and body awareness. IFS helps you meet protectors and exiles with care and invite steadier leadership. Trauma-informed CBT offers tools for triggers and avoidance. EFT supports partners in repair. A psychodynamic and narrative lens helps integrate what happened without overwhelm.

Sessions are paced with consent and anchored in your goals and community. We map supports, connect you to resources, and can collaborate with your circle of care. We keep what helps and adjust as we go.

How It Works

First Session

Consent, privacy, and a gentle map of what is hardest now. You leave with one stabilizing practice to try this week.

After That

We build capacity slowly, add meaning-making when it feels right, and include partners or family if you choose.
